UK General Business Visa
All supporting documents need to be uploaded, for this we require clear scanned copies of your documents. Once an appointment is secured the hard copies of the documents will be required.
Requirements Below:
- Passport
- Completed VAF
- Letter from the company inviting you to visit them in the UK
- Letter from employers in the UK (on headed notepaper) confirming their position
- Letter from your employer in South Africa confirming your position in the company and your salary
- Letter from the company that is paying for the complete business trip
- Letter from the company stating that you will be visiting the UK on a regular basis each month
Documents from yourself:
- Your last 3 months bank statements
- Your last 3 months salary slips
- Proof of your tenancy agreement in South Africa
- Utility bill for your property
- Copy of your hotel where you are staying in the UK
- Computer print-out of return airline booking

If being invited by friends / relatives the following documents:
If the relative/friend is NOT sponsoring your travel costs then ALL I need is the following:
- Letter from the person inviting you to visit them in the UK
- Copy of their passport
- Copy of their utility bill
If the relative/friend IS sponsoring your travel costs then I will need the following:
- The letter of invitation from the person inviting you to visit them in the UK
- Copy of their passport
- Tenancy agreement of the property in the UK from the person inviting you
- Utility bill of the property in the UK
- Letter from employers in the UK (on headed notepaper) confirming their job and the salary of the person inviting you.
- Copies of their last 3 months salary slips
- Copies of their last 3 months bank statements
If you going on holiday the following documents:
- Copy of your accommodation while in the UK if not staying with friends/relatives
- Copy of hotel must have the address, telephone number and email address
Documents from yourself:
- Letter from your employers in South Africa confirming your position in the company and your salary.
- Your last 3 months bank statements
- Your last 3 months salary slips
- If self-employed we need the following:
- Company registration documents
- 3 months business bank statements
- Letter from accountant or auditors confirming your salary
- Marriage certificate if applicable
- Proof of your tenancy agreement in South Africa
- Utility bill for your property
- Computer print-out of return airline booking (not necessary)
Children under 18 travelling with parents:
- Copies of the children’s unabridged birth certificates Children under 18 travelling alone or with one parent:
- Copies of the children unabridged birth certificates
- Certified letter of consent from the parents
